Signature Experiences
We have a variety of activities at Enkusero Mara to engage both adults and families alike and these can be curated to suit your preferences and schedule.
Our rates are All-Inclusive so most activities can be done without incurring any extra charges. Let us know if you have something special in mind that’s not listed below such as a hot air balloon ride or a night safari and our reservations team can organize that for you.
Game Drives
The Enkusero Mara guides, born and bred within the Maasai Mara ecosystem, are based in camp and know their backyard intimately. All our guides are Silver Level certified from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and have almost 15 years of field experience.
You can choose between a full day game drive or two half day game drives daily allowing for much flexibility in schedule. We conduct our game drives in open top Toyota 4x4 Landcruisers, designed for comfort but also with special adaptation to suit professional photography.
Bush Dinner
As the sun sets, choose to dine beneath the vast African sky. Picture an intimate dinner served by the soft glow of candlelight in a secluded corner of the camp grounds. The atmosphere is set for an evening of culinary delights, complemented by the enchanting ambiance of the open air.
Bush dining isn't just a meal; it's a celebration of nature's grandeur and the rich tapestry of flavours that define Africa. Join us in this extraordinary culinary adventure, where every dish tells a tale and every moment is an exploration of the wild.
Campfire Nights
With the sun bidding it’s fiery farewell, an enchanting transformation takes place, giving rise to a captivating evening campfire scene that will etch itself into the tapestry of your memories.
As the warmth of the fire envelopes you, a sense of tranquility settles in. The campfire becomes a sanctuary, a haven where time slows down, and the worries of the modern world fade away. It's a moment to reconnect with nature and rediscover the simplicity and beauty of life in its purest form.
Community Visits
The Maasai Mara continues to exist as a pristine wilderness thanks to the relationship between the Maasai tribes and the wildlife that inhibit it. A people proud of their culture and history, the Maasai are famous for their bright coloured cloths, tribal tools and intricate artworks.
All our staff hail from local Maasai villages and can organise a visit to their villages for a fee (booked and paid for separately). An incredible opportunity to witness how age old culture exists side by side with modern infrastructure in perfect unison.
Guided Safari Walks
Our camp grounds are surrounded by a vast landscape that has been traversed by generations of Maasai for years. Our guides take excellent care of you as we leave the Jeeps in camp and get a different perspective on foot. This is a fantastic activity for both adults and children over 12 years old.
We show you how to track and identify animal footprints, plants, flowers and a lot of the microfauna not visible from the top of the Jeep. For safety reasons, this activity will only progress after a thorough check of surroundings have been carried out by our guides.
Sundowner Drinks
We usually head to the banks of the Mara river to watch the sunset over the Oloololo escarpment. Our bush bartenders then setup up the loveliest of drink and canape stations as you enjoy your favourite cocktail. Our rate includes a complimentary sundowner.
