  • Yes, our All-Inclusive, Non-Kenyan Resident rate includes entry into the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

  • The Masaai Mara is a year-round destination with pleasant daytime temperatures and cool mornings and evenings. November and December are known for their short rains with warm daytime averages. The days are hot and dry from January to March, with occasional thunderstorms, generally in the late afternoon. You can expect great wildlife sightings and dramatic scenery. From April to May, the Mara experiences its long rains and significant downpours, which can bring about fantastic photographic opportunities with renewed life across the plains. June through October is the dry season, highlighted by sunny days and chilly nights. It’s also the beginning of the Great Migration, a spectacular time to experience the Maasai Mara.

  • Yes, we can cater to your dietary needs. Our in-house culinary team provide vegetarian, vegan and plant-based meal options. Please mention this when making your reservation so our culinary team can pre-plan a tailored menu for you.

  • Yes, we are a short drive from the Musiara Airstrip, and transfers are complimentary.

  • Yes, we can arrange private road transfers from Nairobi to Enkusero Mara. Please enquire about road transfers during your booking.

  • Our camp has a maximum sleeping capacity of only 10 guests. Chances are you will have the jeep to yourself, but you will share with the other guests when we have more than one group staying. We can arrange a private vehicle at an additional fee.

  • We have a minimum 2-night booking policy, but for a truly immersive and unhurried safari, we recommend a 4-night stay. Longer stays mean more wildlife and more time to sit and soak in the savannah, meaning you can follow animal escapades and make time for different experiences, from walking safaris to bush dinners and even a hot air balloon ride.

  • While Malaria isn't prevalent within the Maasai Mara, it is advisable to consult your medical practitioner if you are travelling to other malaria-prone regions within Kenya and/or Africa. We advise that all travellers seek appropriate travel insurance with health coverage when visiting remote destinations.

  • While there is no expectation for guests to leave gratuities, we understand that you may want to acknowledge the effort and passion of our team. Our team has agreed that all tips will be shared and divided equally. If you wish to leave a tip, the general guide is between USD 20 – 30 per guest per night.

  • Due to our camp being unfenced, we welcome children over the age of five to Enkusero Mara.

  • Check-in time is 12 pm. Once settled into camp, you will enjoy afternoon tea before an introductory game drive at sundown.

    On your last morning, check-out is between 10:30 am and 11 am. Please note that there are no scheduled game drives on your last day before departure due to park entrance fee restrictions in the Maasai Mara.
