Expensive Jewellery & Items
It’s best not to pack expensive watches and jewelry items for your Safari trip. While our camp grounds are extremely safe, we cannot guarantee lost or misplaced items will be found before checkout.
Currency
The local currency is Kenyan Shillings. There are no ATMs within the Maasai Mara National Reserve so its best to withdraw any cash you would need while in Nairobi.
Tipping
Tipping is encouraged but not mandatory. Our staff are extremely grateful for your patronage and expect nothing in return for their service. Tipping in US dollars or Kenyan Shillings is preferred.
